Well thanks to the people who made it along to the Rock Hoppers talk, despite the crap last minute change of meeting place, sorry about that!

What a brilliant, friendly group! The talk was packed, standing room only, must have been 65 people there! Also a fun, informative and inspirational talk.

I've been a bit snowed with work, but that's no excuse so it's time to get climbing again at the Castle. Same bat place: the Castle Cafe, Same bat time: 7pm, and then back again at the cafe at 8.45pm to chat, have a snack and change partners.

As usual, any newbies will need to register when they arrive, so allow for at least an extra 15 minutes.

PS any lead climbers with ropes, make sure you bring your gear along!

    Hi All, Good to meet those of you who were there last night. I'm happy leading / seconding and belaying either if anyones interested and I enjoy getting out Peaks mostly (Got the necessary gear and transport). Drop me a line on here if anyone fancies meeting up or getting out doors anytime. Probably going to get to the Peaks for the weekend 12th or 19th April and maybe over Easter (depending on the weather) Oh and a beer (They do a mean Thai curry as well) is a gerat idea

    Thanks everyone for the great evening! Pity I didn't find anyone in the end to say bye... I suggest that next time we stay for a beer after climbing (that's how I was thought ;-)

    Member of the Castle for a couple of months now, around 20-odd hours of climbing since.... I'm planning to turn up and see if/how I can climb, otherwise I can always assist...
