Introduction

I was looking for a new hobby and had heard lots of good things about climbing. This group gladly accepted beginners and has since helped me progress from a newbie to a solid 5.9 climber.

Preferred Climbing Gym? Favorite Outdoor Climbing Spot?

SportRock Alexandria or Sterling. I have not yet climbed outdoors and am excited to start this spring.

Have you been Top Roping, Sport Leading, or Traditional Lead climbing ?

Currently, only top roping. I plan on learning leading before heading outdoors this spring.

I like to challenge myself and usually climb at or slightly above my skill level.
