Introduction to Lead Climbing!

Come learn the basics of indoor lead climbing from highly experienced and knowledgeable instructors, in a fun and supportive environment! This is a great opportunity to learn lead climbing skills, ask questions about safety and movement, practice mock leading, and climb! Meet other potential climbing partners.

Come away with a solid understanding of lead climbing and belaying skills, lead climbing safety fundamentals, use of commands, mental strategies, and the skills necessary to start lead climbing indoors at rock climbing gyms.

If you're ready to take the next step in your climbing career, this is your course! This also sets you up well to start climbing outdoors. $45 per person, minimum of four people. Prior registration is required.

Prerequisites : Must have solid understanding and practice of how to climb in a toprope setting, and ability to belay/toprope 5.8 will help you gain more out of this class.
