Danny- What is the situation with camp sites? I remember you saying something, I just don't remember what you said about them..... Also, My arm is very sore from yesterday. I could still go and watch ya'll climb, etc. but I don't know how much climbing I will be doing. I don't know about the gym tomorrow- I am going to wait and see how the arm feels tomorrow.

90 is hot......

That's at least three degrees cooler than I was expecting!
We'll just need to plan routes better.. gotta be able to belay (and climb?) in the shade.

90 isn't terrible if you're in the shade.

i said that the campsites i checked inside joshua tree are full, so i planned on staying at the climber's campground just outside the park.

hope your arm recovers! it's cool if you don't climb. you're welcome anyways! you're so cool you don't have to climb.

dude, haven't seen you at a meetup monday in forever!

90 is hot, but stephen has a good point, we'll plan for shady routes. also 90 is the *high*, not average. so the middle/late day will suck, but the rest of the day should be bearable.

Check the calendar - details have changed! A friend of mine has offered to let us use Sheep Pass group site #5 which he has reserved Fri & Sat nights if you guys are up for changing plans a bit. The main park is about 2000' higher than "Indian Stove"... er I mean "Cove" and is significantly cooler. I'd be happy to show you some easy/shady Topropes you can set up with minimal gear in the area too. Hope to see you there...

turns out that joshua tree's nomad ventures no longer has a resoler. their guy closed up shop this summer. in fact, they say there aren't _any_ local resolers in the joshua tree area.
so that's funny.

true story.
