Hey guys...I'm a 25 year old guy who just moved to the area 5 days ago. Don't know anyone yet but would like to meet up for some climbing (or even hiking if you're into that). I would go to the gym but I don't really have money for a membership at the moment.
I've been spending a lot of time hiking and moving around...I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail last year, then went to India for 5 months. I'm not sure what my skill level is at this point because I haven't climbed in 2 years, but I have all the gear...trad stuff, sport draws, ropes, etc. I can probably climb around 5.8 but I'd prefer someone who isn't super competitive or concerned about grades, although I'd be willing to belay them on whatever. If you're looking to have some fun, introduce me to some local spots, and maybe get a beer afterwards, let me know. Only drawback is that I don't have a car, but I do have a bike and could probably get myself to wherever we need to meet up. Thanks! Bones |

Just keep your eyes on the events, you will find someone, somewhere to meet us. Holcomb has easier climbing, meetups at mission gorge are a good way to meet some, climbing at the gorge is whatever you are up for.
Good luck, and welcome to So. Cal. |

i just got back into climbing and looking for a belay partner myself. I am mostly at a beginner level, and only did about three months of indoor climbing last year and had to stop because of relocation to a different state.
