For those of you who are members of ACSD, San Diego local climbing ativitist group, you received an invitation to their annual celebration recently. If you are not a member of ACSD, this is your offical invitation! You are invited to come out and see what ACSD is all about, what work they have been doing, and decide if it is the type of organization you would like to support.

It is going to be Friday, October 9 from 6-9 at the Water Conservation Garden.

Tickets are $50 before October 5, or $65 at the door. They are offering a group discount.... and we are a group! The group tickets are in blocks of 8. It would drop the cost to $37.50/ person. If you are interested in getting a group ticket, either respond here or email me.

I think people want to know, what do you get for the price of admission ? music, dancing, dinner, drinks, calender, bumper sticker ?

I will get you more info as it comes to me.

As of right now,(wed 16th) food will be provided, we are getting more of our stickers for your vehicles or whatever. There will be some type of slide shows, possibly 2. There will be silent auction stuff, that we are working on, last year there were ropes, draws, biners, gift certificates, phones from LG, and alot of other stuff.
(if you know of any company, gear vendor, or whatever that would be willing to help, it would be greatly appreciated)
We are working on some type of Beer to have available also, but I can't say that it is a sure thing yet, we have to work out our insurance issues 1st.
I will try to update this whenever I receive more beta on this event.

Along with access to the event, the presentation, hanging out with lots of fellow climbers, you will also get a full buffet style dinner provided by El Pescador of La Jolla and two drink tickets. (beer and wine)

In addition to the auction and raffle ACSD will have merchandise available for sale; t-shirts, beanies, the new 2010 calendars featuring local climbers at local crags, and our new educational guide book featuring topos of 3 of our local crags; El Cajon Mt, Corte Madera and Eagle Peak!
