We are a fun group of experienced hikers who welcome others who enjoy difficult 5+ mile trails at a fast pace. This is NOT A BEGINNER hiking group - we do Camelback and/or Piestewa Peak during the week for workouts to train for our longer weekend hikes. If you cannot summit both of those trails - you will find our hikes VERY difficult. Our hikes are not dog friendly unless otherwise posted. Sometimes we plan backpacking events as well as other outdoor recreation like canyoneering, caving or ski …

We are a group of families who like to hike with all age groups. We tend to feature short but fun hikes that all ages can enjoy. I have found that my kids enjoy and have more energy for hikes that have some mildly rugged terrain with rocks to climb, and that hiking with other families makes for good fun. It is an opportunity to spend some time with your family and to meet new people at the same time.
