This group is for people who would like to participate in meeting other local rock climbers to share tips, discuss gear, plan trips, meet partners or learn to climb. All ages, level climbers welcome to the meetups, unless otherwise stated. We meetup at various climbing locations in New England as well as different climbing gyms in the area. Welcome climbers and non-climbers! Our group is open to women of all ages and abilities. Each Monday night MetroRock hosts Women's Night, encouraging women to get fit and have fun. This is a non-competitive, professional environment. If you've never climbed before there are staff members available to teach you the basics. You don't need a climbing partner or your own gear - just bring a positive attitude.

The group is for anyone who wants to get out and do some recreational mountaineering & adventures of all types. This group is intended to form relationships and networks for memembers to meet other members with simular interests in mountaineering, backpacking and climbing & many other types of adventures. Its always more fun with friends! Eventually this group will grow to include world class climbers and make some expeditions outside of New England.
