… We don't rock climb. We don't run marathon hikes. While some of our hikes can be challenging, we pace ourselves so that we can enjoy the serenity and peacefulness of the outdoors, the flora and fauna, and wildlife.  On the morning of the hike, VSHC members meet at the Memorial Jr. High School parking lot in Valley Stream where we re-group and car pool to the hike.  There is a ride share per person fee for those car pooling to the hike.
